What are beam clamps?

Beam clamps are pieces of hardware used to suspend or secure fixtures, wires, bridal rings, threaded rod, electrical boxes and various hardware to beam flanges. Minerallac offers two styles of beam clamps: the traditional beam clamp with a set screw and the spring steel beam clamp that hammers onto the beam. The set screw or the teeth (spring steel) of the beam clamp securely holds the clamp in place on the beam. They are commonly used in electrical construction applications.

What beam clamp options does Minerallac carry?

Minerallac offers two styles of beam clamps: the traditional beam clamp with a set screw and the spring steel beam clamp that hammers onto the beam. Both styles are available in various sizes to accommodate a wide range of hardware and applications. Below are a few ways Minerallac's beam clamps vary:

Size: Minerallac's selection of beam clamps vary by size in order to fit different thread sizes and flange thicknesses. This allows a user to secure a variety of hardware to any beam type.

Shape: Beam clamps differ by shape and style. Some clamps are made from spring steel and hammer onto the flange for a secure hold. Others are held in place by a set screw. These different styles provide options on ways to attach beam clamps to different beam types.

Function: Minerallac offers different types of beam clamps suited for a number of applications. Some beam clamps include an attached conduit hanger. Others include an attached J-hook to hang data communication cables.

Weight Capacity: Beam clamps hold various weights. Consult our team to learn more about which beam clamps will securely hold your project's weight requirements.
